So google music just doesn't start anymore (it used to work fine). I've reinstalled it several times, including getting rid of the preference panel as well. What happens is:. I'll install it. Run it, it shows up in my System Preferences. I click it in System Preferences, and it gives me the message 'Music Manager is not currently running'.
There's a button called Start Music Manager' but nothing happens when I click it The Google Music website is useless, and I can't seem to find anyone with the same problem. In terms of my setup, I'm on an early '08 MBP running 10.6.8 with a 500gb HHD and a 120gb SSD in the optical bay.
Uploading your iTunes library to Google Music via Music Manager is just as straightforward. You can download it both on your Mac and Windows PC.
I only mention the hard drives because this might have started around the time I installed the SSD. I've tried installing and running google music on both hard drives. Any help would be appreciated, like I said before, the music manager used to work fine.
